RankReady GH is an independent preparation app for Ghanaian teachers studying for GES promotion examinations and teacher licensure / NTC GTLE-style practice. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Ghana Education Service (GES), Ministry of Education (MoE), National Teaching Council (NTC), NaCCA, WAEC, or any government body. RankReady GH is operated by Become a Citizen of Canada.
Information stored on your device
You can use RankReady GH without an account. The app keeps your selected exam track, target promotion rank, selected licensure paper or specialism, practice progress, scores, achievements, theme preference, and recent mock history locally on your device. To resume an unfinished study or mock session, it also keeps that session's question IDs and order, recorded answers, skipped questions, current position, unsubmitted response on the open question, and mock start time on the device. It does not send your study history to a remote RankReady database. A short-lived GES-news cache and local ad-frequency controls are also stored on the device.
Optional Google Drive backup
If you choose to connect Google Drive and press Back up now, RankReady GH uses Google sign-in and the limited Google Drive appDataFolder permission to save one backup file in a private app-specific area of your own Drive. We do not access, list, view, or change your other Drive files. The backup can include selected exam track, target promotion rank, selected licensure paper or specialism, study progress, scores, achievements, theme, and recent mock-question identifiers. It does not include unfinished-session drafts, your password, payment information, feedback messages, GES news cache, advertising data, Google access tokens, or Google profile data. Backup, restore, disconnect, and deletion are started only by you from the Profile screen.
Feedback and support
Feedback is sent only when you choose Send feedback. It may include your name or email if supplied, rating, category, selected exam track, target promotion rank or licensure paper, app version, platform, and the context you attach. A question report may include the question ID, topic, source URL, and the message you typed. We use it to respond, investigate reports, maintain support records, and improve the app. Feedback is sent over HTTPS to our contact service and forwarded through Resend, our email-delivery provider. We do not sell feedback information or use it to target ads.
Official source links and external websites
RankReady GH shows government information only with links back to original source pages. Examples include GES pages for promotion updates, NTC pages for GTLE or teacher-licensure structure, and NaCCA or MoE pages for curriculum and policy context. The app provides original, source-aligned practice questions; it does not provide official, leaked, recalled, guaranteed, or confidential live-exam questions. The GES Updates screen requests current article headlines from ges.gov.gh and stores a short-lived local cache on your device. When you open a GES, NTC, NaCCA, MoE, WAEC, or other external source link, that organisation's own privacy policy and terms apply.
Google Mobile Ads and consent
RankReady GH is free to use and uses Google Mobile Ads to support the promotion and teacher-licensure question banks and mock exams. Google and its advertising partners may process device and online identifiers, IP address, advertising interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver, measure, secure, and improve ads. Consent information is requested through Google's consent system when the app opens; where available, you can reopen privacy options from the in-app Privacy Policy screen. The app does not request ads until that system permits it.
How ads appear
Full-screen ads are considered only at natural breaks after results are visible and a learner deliberately returns to the dashboard or begins a focused next topic. Clearly labelled banner ads may appear on the Dashboard, Achievements, and designated areas of Official GES Updates. Ads do not appear while answering questions, taking or marking an exam, reading results or reviews, using support or privacy settings, opening the app, or exiting it. Local frequency controls limit full-screen ads.
Choices, retention, and deletion
You can clear local data in Android's app-storage settings or by uninstalling. You can delete an optional Drive backup in the app. Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, or meet legal obligations. Read the data-deletion instructions to remove app data or request deletion of feedback or support records.
Security and updates
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service, including HTTPS for feedback transmission. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. We will update this policy date when the policy changes.
